This is the premier post of 'Lazy In Low-Sec'. For those looking for a hard-hitting, gritty, informational explosion of typing right out of the box, well..... you might want to move along, at least for now. I'm just getting started here, so please bear with me while I get my feet under me. More interesting content for reading will hopefully follow, but for now...
First things first. An Introduction. This Blog is the primary Outlet of Expression for the pilot Argos Gelert in EvE Online. Argos currently flies with Stay Frosty Corporation in A Band Apart Alliance.
A bit about us as an Alliance. The great thing about us is that even though Argos resides in a so-called 'Pirate' Corporation, he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and however he wants. All of the players inside of the Alliance can do this. Just because you are an Industrialist doesn't mean you can't PvP whenever you want to, just because you're a WormHoler doesn't mean you can't do station trading or Missions, just because you are a LowSec Pirate-type doesn't mean you can't have a Positive Sec Status and do Escalations in HighSec. If you want to do something, we want you to do it, regardless of what Corps. you are in!
As Argos, I tend to think of myself as a Privateer-not a Pirate. I PvP when I feel like it, but that's not all of the time. I'm not interested in being -10, nor living in LowSec 24/7, even though I do tend to spend quite a bit of time there. I simply 'live' in an Alliance where I have freedom to do what I want to do, with no judgement on how I do it. You can be 'terrible' at EvE-and you'll get support and encouragement here, NOT ridicule and humiliation. We don't believe in 'bad at EvE'. If you are having FUN, then we believe you are DOING IT RIGHT! It's an environment that I wish everyone in EvE had the opportunity to experience, and one that I hope most of the Corps. and Alliances foster. I recognise that this is a naive and idealistic hope, but there it is.
That's it for now. Hopefully the muse will keep me inspired to type senseless drivel in here on a fairly regular basis, and I Thank You in Advance for your future or current readership.
Argos Gelert
p.s.-Use FedNavy Ammo, Caldari is for suckers.
Ah...so, this is how the mystery will slowly dissipates. Thanks, Argos. I look forward to more inspiration from your muse.
